Our next intake is going to commence from 20^th January 2014 and all the below mentioned programs would be offered in the London Campus.

Kindly Note: students who need to attend pre-sessional English will be issued individual CAS for pre-sessional and the main course. CAS for the main course will be issued only on successful completion of the pre-sessional English.

 DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST:
Entry requirements can vary according to the program of study applied for.   The following are our basic requirements.  All documents must be in the original language and also officially translated in to English (where applicable):

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

v  Fully completed University application form

v  Copy of High School/Secondary School transcripts and Diploma or Copy of ‘A’ and GCSE ‘O’ Level certificates

v  Copy of passport/ID Card

v  International students already in the UK – a copy of current student Visa

v  International students already in the UK – letter of attendance from previous institution

v  Any other applicable academic documentation

v  2 Academic references Or 1 academic reference plus 1 employment reference

v  CV (if applicable)

v  Statement of purpose

v  All the financial documents (Loan Letter, Savings account statement which is 28days old) for issuing a CAS

v  B2 level SELT score (IELTS, TOEIC, PERASON, TOEFL, etc.)

POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS

v  Completed University application form

v  Diploma and transcripts/mark sheets for all years of undergraduate degree

v  High School Secondary School transcripts and Diploma/or ‘A’ and GCSE ‘O’ Level certificates

v  1 employment reference listing job roles and responsibilities

Note:  The living expenses that each student has to show for UNIVERSITY OF SUNDERLAND LONDON CAMPUS is £9000

PRE-SESSIONAL ENGLISH:

v  Students who received grades of 60% on their English modules at the 10^th and 12^th Levels will be exempt from SELT butwill be required to still attend an assessment interview with the assessor in charge who will confirm whether the student can apply straight for the programme or if IELTS will be required.

v  Students who received grades below 60% on their English modules at the 10^th and 12 Levels are required to produce a UKBA-approved SELT certificate.

• ·         If the overall and individual grades are 6.0 or higher (or equivalent for other SELT tests), the student can apply for direct entry to the programme
• ·         If the overall score is 6.0 or higher (or equivalent for other SELT tests) but there is at least one skill at 5.5 (no skill below 5.5), the student can apply for direct entry to the programme
• ·         If the overall score is 5.0 or higher but there is at least one skill at 5.0 (no skill below 5.0), the student will need to attend 3-months Standard Pre-Sessional course where they will attend 25 hrs. of English lectures per week.
• ·         If the overall score is 5.5 with 5.5 in each skill, the student will need to attend  3-months Pre-sessional course where they will attend 15hrs of English lectures per week.

v  Students with less than B2 level might also be eligible for Pre-Session English based on their English language standards.

TUITION FEE FOR PRE-SESSION ENGLISH

The tuition fees for Pre-sessional English are as follows:
Intermediate (15 hrs. tuition) – £1,400; Advanced (25 hrs. tuition) – £2,000.
