Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.)
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.)
Candidates satisfying the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for AIET
1. Candidates must be Indian National .
The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
2. The candidate must be either 17 years of age.
3. Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized Board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS courses. The Backward class candidates must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificate along with the application. Candidates who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose result will be declared before the dates of Counseling will
also be eligible to appear at AIET. Result
The results of the Entrance Test will be displayed on the web site i.e. www.dypatil.ac.in Revaluation There is no provision for revaluation of Answer Books.
Selection Procedure
Candidates who secure the minimum 50% marks at AIET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils are eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / B.P.T. courses and can be offered provisional admission to these on the basis of their interse merit at the time of counseling. Tiebreaker Rules
In case of equal marks at AIET, the following procedure shall be adopted for determining inter-se-merit:
First level: A candidate securing higher marks in Biology (or Botany & Zoology) in the Entrance Test shall be preferred. If the tie still persists, then,
Second Level: A candidate securing higher marks in Chemistry in the Entrance Test shall pe preferred. If the tie still persists, then,
Third level: A candidate securing higher marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at H.S.C. or equivalent examination shall be preferred, if the tie still persists, then,
Fourth Level: An older candidate shall be preferred over a younger candidate.
Counseling:
Counseling schedule giving the dates, time and merit standing of students is declared at the time of result. Eligibility Criteria for appearing at AIET – B.Tech & M.Tech (Integrated)
All India Entrance Test
B.Tech Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering & M.Tech Integrated (Bioinformatics) Progrmmes Candidates satisfying the following eligibility criteria are eligible to appear for AIET B.Tech Candidate must be Indian National The Nationality, Domicile certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan magistrate or a valid passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
The candidates who have appeared for HSC or equivalent examination and whose results will be declared before the dates of counseling will also be eligible to appear at AIET – B.Tech
The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain that age at the time of admission. Candidate should have passed H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects. The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and or Mathematics individually also.
The candidate should have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry biology and or Mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination.
The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC student shall have relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility. Candidates should have secured minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and or Mathematics taken together at the AIET B.Tech and (M.Tech Integrated) competitive entrance examination of this University.
B.Tech/M.Tech Integrated Courses
The candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, (PCMB) and English as a subject is compulsory. Candidates with mathematics will be considered eligible for B.Tech Bioinformatics / B.Tech Biomedical Engineering courses.

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit at the Entrance Test
Eligibility criteria for appearing for BAIET (B.Ed All India Entrance Test)
Candidate possessing a graduation degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks will be eligible to appear for BAIET. Relaxation for category candidates as per the Rules of the state Government.
Selection Process
Candidates who secure a minimum of 50% marks at the BAIET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by the University shall be eligible for admission on the basis of their inter-se-merit at the tome of counseling.
Eligibility criteria for appearing for AIPGMET (All India Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test) : Doctor of Medicine, (MD) Master of Surgery (MS)
PG Diploma
Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate / valid passport shall constitute proof of nationality. The candidate must have passed M.B.B.S. Examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained registration either from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council after completion of one year rotating internship training.
The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council can also appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal / Dean of the College regarding the likely date of completion of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch / discipline of this choice when it is his turn for counseling. Tie Breaker In case equal marks at AIPGMET inter-se-merit of the candidates will be determined by applying following tiebreaker rules:
a) First Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the aggregate of marks at the First, second and Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examination taken together will be preferred. If the tie still persists then: b) Second Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examination will
be preferred. If the tie still persists, then. c) Third Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks at the Second M.B.B.S. Examination will be
preferred. If the tie still persists then. d) Fourth Level: An older candidate will be preferred over a younger candidate.

M.Tech Bioinformatics
A graduate student having competed any of the following with minimum 50% marks in B.E. / B.Tech Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Chemical Engineering / computer Science / computer Engineering / Biomedical Engineering Bioprocess Technology / B.Pharm / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. or M.Sc. and equivalent M.Sc. Biochemistry
A graduate student having completed any of the following with minimum 50% marks in Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology and equivalent.
Note: Candidates who are due to appear in the final semester / year of the qualifying examination shall also be considered for appearing in the entrance test provided the candidates have secured 50% or equivalent grade in previous semesters. However, in the event of selection, the admission will be subject to their securing the minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit at the Entrance Test Eligibility criteria for appearing for DYPCET for admissions to MBA (Full Time program) Eligibility
Admission Procedure for Full Time MBA The eligible candidates have to take a common entrance. Exam conducted by the DYPDM and commonly referred to as DYPCET. The candidates have then to sit fir a GROUP DISCUSSION and a personal interview. In case the candidate has undertaken the CAT / MAT / XAT / JMET / MH-CET / GMAT then these score are also considered instead of the DYPCET scores.

2. Result of the DYPCET or the scores obtained in the CAT / MAT / XAT / JMET / MH-CET / GMAT.
3. GD and PI conducted by DYPDBM
4. work experience and
5. Extra Curricular Activities (e.g. sports etc.)A Criteria for MBA Part Time (part time Program)
Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline or equivalent, Additionally the candidates must have 2 years work experience in a supervisory position after having obtained the graduate degree, (for reserve categories a relaxation of 5% in the marks is allowed)
Admission procedure
The eligible candidates have to take a common entrance exam conducted by the DYPDBM. The candidates have then to sit for a group discussion and a personal interview.
The selection criteria is based on the following: 1. Educational Qualification.

The All India Entrance Test (AIET) bulletin gives details of the eligibility criteria and the basis of selection of the admission process. This ensures total transparency in the admission process. Very broadly the admission process can be at best described as follows:
The detailed procedure to be followed during the conduct of the All India Entrance Test (AIET) is prescribed by the Bye–Laws prepared under Rule No.26 (S) of the MoA 2002 of the university.
For the admission to the course B.Sc. in Hospitality and Tourism Studies admission is open i.e. based on merit basis.
FN/PIO/NRI Category Please note that Fifteen percent seats for each The above mentioned courses have reserved seats for Foreign National / PIO / NRI category and separate fee structure for this category. The candidates desirous of getting admission under this category will have to apply separately on a prescribed form available from the University office.
As students from countries other than India come from different background from a wide range of countries graduating at different times each year, an examination for them becomes a difficult task. Such students desirous of getting admission in this category are exempted from appearing for the All India Entrance Test. Preference will be given to the foreign nationals and wards of persons of Indian origin settled abroad. The candidates in General Category who desire to be considered for admission against vacant seats in FN/ PIO/NRI category and who agree to be governed by the fee structure of this category, will have to submit a separate application which can be obtained from the Admission office of the University in addition to application from appearing at AIET. The vacant seats will be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit of such candidates based on their AIET. Reservations will be as per the directives of the Government of India(M.H.R.D.) |
